Formerly: Independent Verification and Validation: Keeping projects on track in health organizations
Within organizations more information technology (IT) systems and medical devices are being inter-connected. Clinicians are increasingly relying on these systems for information, clinical orders and decision support. Each of these increase risk to high quality and safe health care delivery.
Three approaches to ensure that these systems and devices are of high-quality include:
- robust quality management,
- using third parties to verify quality, and
- test automation for quality assurance
This presentation will elaborate on these approaches, and cover case studies where these were used to meet timeline and budget requirements, guaranteeing a high quality product delivered to end users and clients.
