JUNE 21, 2017 – Presented by Sally Remus, NI Doctoral Student, Arthur Labatt Family School of Nursing, Western University, London, Ontario. Sally is an accomplished healthcare executive with diversified experiences as a clinician, nurse informatician, educator and consultant. As a consultant, she has assisted clients with ICT implementations, eHealth strategic planning and in the design of nursing informatics curriculum and delivery. Sally participates in initiatives at Canada Health Infoway, CNIA and CNA and is currently pursuing Nursing PhD studies at Western University, London, ON. Sally’s doctoral informatics research focus is to build and validate the accuracy of a computational model representing current factors in the care of ALS patients using homecare “big data” to determine the services and identify care needs that predict patient abilities/preferences to remain safely at home.
