Volunteer with COACH to build your network and develop new skills

Did you know that your COACH membership opens the door to a world of rewarding volunteer opportunities? If you are new to the world of digital health, volunteering is a great way to develop new connections or learn from more experienced digital health professionals. Members who have advanced further down the career path can leverage their expertise as a COACH Education presenter or by leading a Community of Action. Plus: if you are interested in achieving or renewing your CPHIMS-CA credential, participating in volunteer opportunities can earn CEU credits. Consider one of the following career-building opportunities, and contact COACH at volunteer@coachorg.com.

Lead or participate in a Community of Action (COA)
  • Benefit: meet like-minded digital health professionals, explore a topic you are passionate about, and add a publication to your resume
  • Members who are interested in specific topic areas can work with other interested COACH members in a COA
  • The COA will come together to create a whitepaper, a Q&A Factsheet, a webinar or a toolkit – you decide, and COACH will help
  • Members can lead or participate depending on time, skills, and level of interest
  • New COA opportunities will be launched in the coming months
  • Contact COACH at volunteer@coachorg.com if you have a COA topic idea
Create a Meet-up in your city
  • Benefit: get to know local digital health professionals and expand your professional network in a fun, relaxed atmosphere

  • Meet-ups might run for 2-3 hours and can include an informal education component i.e. guest speaker or panel
  • Invite local COACH Members and non-members
  • Use the COACH Meet-up Manual to plan your event and rely on guidance from the COACH team for registration, financial/accounting and marketing
  • Next Meet-up will take place in Toronto during e-Health
